How to Measure
Getting your
measurements right.

Measure length at the longest point
Head to foot along the sleeping surface. If the space tapers or has an angled end, measure the longest dimension and note both ends.

Measure width at widest and narrowest
Most sleeping spaces are not perfectly parallel. Measure both ends. Note where wheel arches, storage or cabinetry cuts into the sleeping area.

Note all cutouts and features
Wheel arches — position from each wall and height. Rounded corners — which corners. Splits — where they need to fall. Angled ends — width at both ends.

Take photos and send them through
A top-down photo of your sleeping platform tells us more than most written descriptions. Send photos after we reply and we confirm everything before cutting.
Pro Tip
Always measure at the widest and narrowest points. If your space has wheel arches or angles, a rough sketch with dimensions works perfectly — we would rather ask one extra question than cut it wrong. Nothing is cut until dimensions are confirmed and approved by you.

Wheel Arch Cutouts
Measure from the inner wall to where the arch starts, the arch width, and height above the platform. A photo helps. We confirm before cutting.
Angled Ends
Beds that taper toward the cab or have angled foot ends. Give us the width at both ends and the length at the longest point.
Rounded Corners
Soft or tight radius on any corner. Specify which corners need rounding and we will recommend a radius or work to yours.
Split Configurations
Two or more pieces that work as one mattress. Common where a hatch needs to open underneath. Clean joins, no visible gaps.
His and Hers Firmness
Two separate pieces, different firmness on each side. Available on the Ultimate Comfort range. Tell us which side needs which firmness.
Custom Thickness
Tell us your available clearance and we will recommend the right depth. Standard 15cm or 20cm, or specify your own requirement.

Do I need to measure?
No. Just send us your brand and model name and we look up the interior floor dimensions. If we cannot find them we will walk you through measuring in about 2 minutes.
Will it fold and close properly?
Yes. We account for the fold in our thickness recommendations and confirm this when we quote. The mattress is designed to compress enough to close your specific tent.
What is the lead time?
MW Toolbox is in stock and follows the standard 2-3 week production window. All other brands are made to order within the same timeframe from confirmation.

How long does it take to make my mattress?
2-3 weeks from order confirmation. We confirm your dimensions first, then go into production. We will keep you updated throughout and let you know your expected delivery date.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes. We ship everywhere in Australia. Mattresses are vacuum-rolled and flat-packed for delivery. They expand back to full shape within 24-48 hours of unboxing.
Can I get a split mattress — two pieces that work as one?
Yes. Common where a storage hatch needs to open underneath the bed. Two pieces with clean joins. Tell us where the split needs to fall and we cut accordingly.
Is the cover removable and washable?
Yes. The Tencel Knit cover unzips and goes straight in the washing machine. Easy to keep clean on the road.
What if my measurements are not exact?
Send us your best numbers and some photos. We confirm everything before cutting — nothing goes ahead without your sign-off. We would rather ask one extra question than cut it wrong.
Can you do custom cushion covers and seat cushions?
Yes. Seat-to-bed configurations, bench cushions, backrests, bolsters. Any layout, any fabric. Send us your details and we will quote same day.
What is the warranty on your mattresses?
Our mattresses are built to last. Contact us directly if you have any issues with your product and we will sort it out. We stand behind every piece we make.
Do you offer trade or wholesale pricing?
